Minor Ailments Scheme

 Manchester's  minor ailment scheme  offers quick, confidential diagnosis and treatment for lots of common complaints.

The service operates in partnership with your GP practice so that registered patients can get advice and any medicines they need from a local community pharmacy without the need for an appointment with your GP.

Normal prescription charges apply, but if you usually get your prescriptions free you won't have to pay for medicines prescribed though the Minor Ailment scheme

Boots  on Crumpsall Lane and Delaunays Road and Blackley Pharmacy, Wise Pharmacy , Cheetham Hill Road and LLoyds Crescent Road  participate in the scheme   

Many of the most common ailments are covered within the scheme. Some are restricted by age, others are open to all.
